Just a smattering of the things I’ve seen or flagged for more reading when God makes the day 26 hours long …

  • There are new pension laws in the US! Woo! Nothing more exciting than a good pension law. What’s good about it is that provisions were changed to allow non-spousal inheritance, so that if I died on my way home tonight, The Beau could inherit my 401K and roll it into his own rather than being forced to cash it all out and pay taxes out the nose.
  • Georgia Tech Uni was forced / agreed (sketchy reports) to drop prohibition of students verbally injuring their GLBT classmates from the school’s speech code, from Jim at Straight Not Narrow
  • Gotta love these PJ’s for your kids: Armor of God Pajamas (Hat Tip: Andrew Sullivan) I actually think they’re kind of cute, though ridiculous. (And I’m not sure about the whole shawl thing for girls)
  • Another champion of GBLT Christians, Jerry Maneker, encourages those struggling with the whole idea of resolving their Truths with their Dogma. He’s also pointing to HRC’s Out In Scripture project.
  • John Hosty reviews some of the main arguments against gay marriage

And lastly, I’ve rediscovered my love for the AlterBoyz musical. If you ever are in New York City you simply must go to this Off-Broadway show that extols the virtues the Christian Faith. Take for example this fun number:
