Self Delusion is Fun!

Yes, they’re still disconnected from reality, courtesy Randy Thomas (surprise). Boycotts are hurting Ford?

I’m sure it has nothing to do with the high price of gas hurting auto sales across the board; the wild success of imported brands for being lighter, smaller, cheaper, and more efficient; the heavy burden of the unions; consistently poor performance of the now-ousted CEO (having to do with bad business decisions, not the marketing department’s decisions related to advertising in Advocate); heavy cost of benefits that are government-subsized by the international auto makers; inability to cut costs when the constantly rising tide of auto sales finally ebbed, resulting in constant losses and an inability to invest back in the business.

Nope – none of the perfectly sound business cases for Ford’s failures are in any way connected to the revenue drop or Bill Ford’s ouster. It’s all because a few dozen fundies boycotted the cars they probably weren’t planning on buying anyway.

I think Ford’s problems amy have to do with the fact that Ford is not a Christian car, as Jesus drove a Honda.

Jesus drove a Honda, but he didn’t like to talk about it. That’s why he said in John 12:49:

”..I did not speak of my own Accord…”
